As some my be aware, I also post my sports photos on Facebook. As of February 12, my Facebook page has been hacked and is no longer under my control. Aparently there is no way to get control back. I have sarted a new page. The best way to find it is to search Facebook for John Miller Auburn, NY. This website has always been the primary source for my photos and will continue to be.

Welcome to the Auburn Runners website. This site is actually a gateway to my flickr.com photo pages. It is much easier to remember auburnrunners.com than the long address for the flickr site. The flickr site started out devoted to Auburn High School running sports. I also have sections on The Auburn Vanguard field competition band and a section titled Non-High School Running, which covers local area running races. Also a section onThe Great Race Auburn's largest sporting event. I also photograph some college events. In the last ten years, or so, I've expanded to cover other high school sports including football, soccer, tennis, basketball & lacrosse.

There are two ways to access my photos:
For current events, you can click on one of the Direct Links at the left. A Direct Link will bring you to a page for that event. For previous sports seasons, you can select a Collection at the right, which contains all events for that season. You have two choices:

View all the photos for that event by scrolling down the page.

Click the first photo in the album to view a larger version. Use the arrows next to the photo to scroll through. If you don't see the arrows, move your mouse to the area to the right or left of the photo and they will appear.

Downloading Click on the

symbol at the bottom right. If you do not see it you are viewing the photo in a full browser window. Click on the "double arrow" symbol at the top right corner of the photo. Pick a size to download. Usually the Large is sufficient for sharing online. If you are planning on printing the photo then choose the Original size. Then click on Download. The downloaded photo will appear in your Download Folder. You should familiarize yourself with accessing your Download folder. The file will have a rather long name, Internet Explorer gives you a chance to change it. The above directions assume you are using Windows 7 or later.

Who Can Use My Photos? Anyone. If you are a for-profit organization, like a website or newspaper, I just ask that you give me credit for the photo.
